This challenging seven-day circular long-distance hike runs predominantly along "black" (difficult) mountain trails. Accordingly, alpine experience is a prerequisite, as is sure-footedness on steep—and in places exposed—paths, cable-secured sections, and rocky, gravelly terrain. The route, covering approximately 7,000 meters of elevation gain and a distance of 84 kilometers, demands a high level of physical fitness.
